The single cheapest weeks of 2027 are the two weeks right after New Year's settles down, roughly January 11 through January 24, when holiday travel is over and everyone's broke and back at work. Resorts have empty rooms and a full year of presentation quotas to fill, so the $49 offers come out swinging. Its genuinely the best value window on the whole calendar.
Right behind January is the late-April lull, the stretch after spring break ends and before summer demand kicks in. And then September, my personal favorite, when kids are back in school and the beaches empty out but the weather in a lot of places is still fantastic. Me and my wife have done September Gatlinburg trips three years running for basically nothing.
Why are these specific weeks so cheap?
These weeks are cheap because demand collapses while supply stays exactly the same, so resorts drop prices to move rooms and book presentations. A hotel room is the ultimate use-it-or-lose-it product, an empty night is gone forever, so a $49 vacpack that fills a seat at a timeshare talk beats an empty room every single time.
The holidays and summer are the opposite. When everyone wants the same week, the resort has no reason to discount, so the cheap inventory dries up and even the vacpack prices firm up. Understanding that one seesaw, demand up means price up, is basically the whole game.

Pick your cheap week first, then shop the destination, not the other way around. If you start with "I want Orlando in July" you've already locked yourself into peak pricing.
