Trip Length
Under 5 nights → Vacpack nearly always wins. The math breaks down something like this: vacpacks price a 3-night stay at $99-$299, which is often less than a single night of Airbnb at the same property quality. Even with a 90-minute presentation sacrificed, vacpacks run 50-80% cheaper.
5-7 nights → Coin flip. Premium vacpacks include up to 5 nights; Airbnb weekly discounts kick in. Location and property quality matter more than price.
7+ nights → Airbnb wins. Weekly and monthly discounts on Airbnb compound. Vacpacks rarely exceed 5 nights. Plus, doing multiple presentations to stack vacpacks is exhausting.
Travel Party
Single/couple → Either works. Vacpack 1-BR or studio at $99 beats most 1-BR Airbnbs at same location.
Family 3-5 people → Vacpack wins big. 2-BR vacpacks at $199 are often less than 2-BR Airbnbs at same resort complex for one night.
Group 6+ people → Airbnb wins. Large houses on Airbnb accommodate 8-12 at a per-person cost lower than any vacpack. Vacpacks max at 2-3 BR units sleeping 6-8.
Destination

The Presentation Tax
The 90-minute presentation is a real cost — $100-$200 per hour of your time if your considering opportunity cost. For a 3-night trip, that's 90 minutes out of ~3,800 waking minutes = 2.4% of the trip. A 5-night trip, its 1.4%.
If your time is billable at $150+/hour and the vacpack saves $300+, still positive ROI. If you hate sales pitches more than most people, weight the tradeoff differently.
Quality Match
Vacpack properties are major-brand resorts with professional housekeeping, daily towel service, consistent furnishings. Airbnb quality varies wildly — same-price units can be luxurious or shabby.
If consistency matters, vacpacks win. If you want character (historic home, unique architecture), Airbnb wins.
