Westgate runs a sub-program called "Westgate Events" that bundles vacpacks with concert or show tickets. It's small but occasionally great value. Here's how it works.
How the Bundle Works
You book a vacpack at a Westgate property and the "Events" version adds show tickets. Examples:
- Westgate Las Vegas — Cirque du Soleil tickets bundled
- Westgate Branson — Grand Ole Opry evening or Dolly Parton show
- Westgate Gatlinburg — Dixie Stampede or other regional shows
- Westgate Orlando — Universal CityWalk concerts

The Real Value
Sometimes the bundle makes sense, sometimes not. Use this math:
- Look up the show/event ticket price separately
- Look up the regular Westgate vacpack without the event add-on
- Add them together
- Compare to the Westgate Events bundle price
If the bundle is 15%+ cheaper than buying separately, it's worth it. If less, skip and book separately.
Pricing Examples
| Event | Regular Tickets | Regular Vacpack | Events Bundle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cirque du Soleil Vegas (2 tickets) | $250 | $99 | $299 (save $50) |
| Branson Dixie Stampede (2 tickets) | $120 | $129 | $229 (save $20) |
| Gatlinburg Comedy Barn (2 tickets) | $60 | $149 | $229 (save -$20) |
The Gatlinburg example is a bundle that costs MORE than buying separately. Always do the math.
When to Use It
- You know you want that specific show AND the Westgate vacpack
- The bundle discount is 15%+
- You're flexible on dates
When to Skip
- You can find the show ticket on Groupon or TodayTix for less
- The bundle discount is <10%
- You'd consider going to the show anyway, outside this trip
The Events vacpack is a niche product but occasionally a genuine deal. Always verify the math.
